Galip was commissioned to vibraphonist Eduardo Cardinho by Port Jazz for their 8th Jazz festival.
In this way, Cardinho invited the Portuguese musicians José Pedro Coelho in the tenor saxophone and the bass player André Rosinha, the Catalan pianist Xavi Torres and the Dutch drummer Jamie Peet.
The chemistry between the elements of the group was evident and they decide to follow with the project, recording his first album with original music edited by Porta Jazz with the name Cale.
